The midnight of August 15, 1947 is memorable for every Indian on the Earth, as it is the time, when India triumphed freedom for the stranglehold of the mighty British. "We must be free not because we claim freedom, but because we practice it."
On the eve of 73rd Independence Day, various competitions were organized well in advance on 10th August 2019 in our college premises. The spirit of freedom and nationalism was well exhibited through the off sage and on stage events such as T-shirt painting, Junk yard (art from waste), Soap carving, Poetry wall, calligraphy, vox populi (solo song), hit the floor (solo dance and group dance), and Mummery (mime). All the competitions were themed on various aspects of the Present Independent India. The student-teachers compete each other by their performances. Each depiction was much cherished by all the judges and professors. As a whole both the staff and the student teachers took it as the grandstand to pay their patriotic zeal towards the country.
"Independence - carried with care, coated with pride, dipped in love, fly in the glory, moments of freedom in the shade of the joy, Proud to be an Indian."
- Jaihind!
