“Safety brings first aid to the uninjured”
The World First Aid Day has been celebrated annually all around the globe for 13 Years. The day acts as a chance to celebrate first aid and raise awareness about how important it is to understand basic first aid which can save millions of lives the world over. World First Aid day was commemorated in SAMCE with eagerness and ebullience on Saturday, 14th September 2019.On this great occasion, Mr.D.M.Josh, Vice Chairman, Indian Red Cross Association, Madurai and Mr.A.Rajkumar, Co-ordinator, Disaster Management, Madurai was invited to give awareness about the importance of first Aid. Student teachers eagerly participated in the session and understood that, in an emergency; even ordinary people can help and save some one’s life by providing first Aid.
Every single person in the world has the capacity to save a life - it is an essential gesture of solidarity. First Aid Education should be accessible to all without discrimination.
