It is an invitation to explore.

Yoga is a way of life. Having its origin in ancient India, yoga is all about the system that aims at the holistic wellness of humans including the body, mind, and the spirit. The idea of International Yoga Day was conceived to spread awareness about the invaluable benefits of yoga among the world community. To emphasize the importance of yoga and to spread awareness about yoga, SAMCE arranged an online webinar on the 19th of June 2021. Mr. P. Ravikumar, Joint Co-ordinator, World Cultural & Yoga Academy Managing Director was invited to address the gathering. He shared his immense knowledge regarding mudra and asanas during the webinar. With the brief intro to the origin of mudra, he started his talk. He emphasized to us that practicing mudra engages both mind and body which constitutes an extremely focused and powerful healing practice. He gave clear knowledge of ‘PANCH TATVA’, the need for 3PR’s. With his demonstration of some mudra and asanas, he made the session lively and interesting. He gave a glimpse of kinds of pranayama, kinds of breathing practice, and do’s and don’ts before yogasana. Overall, the session paved the way to sense the importance of yoga for well-being.
“Yoga means addition – addition of energy, strength, and beauty to body, mind, and soul.”
