Luxury and necessity are not the same for everyone. For some of us family is a necessity. For some of us Family is a luxury. It is important to make today’s generation aware of the role a family plays in the smooth functioning of a society. To educate the student teachers of SAMCE about the value of family, love relationships and harmony, a visit to Bharathi Old Age Home was organised. There the SAMtRAN family has the opportunity to engage and interact with some wise and experienced people. The student teachers of SAMCE also came together to put in some effort to entertain those in the old age home and provide a meal for them. It is important to teach the future generation the satisfaction and importance of giving back. That can only be shown and not said.
